The Plains are Venezuela’s greatest depositories of wildlife, especially birds that live here permanently or gather seasonally to breed. About 350 bird species and 50 mammals’ species have been recorded in this region: scarlet-ibis and hoatzin, pink dolphins, manatees, crocodiles, etc.

3 days / 2 nights
Day 1. Caracas - San Fernando - Barinas (LD)
Private land transfer to the Ranch. Upon arrival you will be received with a tropical welcome cocktail. After settling down in your room, enjoy a typical "llanero" lunch, based on barbecue meat and diverse kinds of tropical vegetables. In the afternoon explore the surroundings of the Hato and start amazing you with the richness of this place. In a single day you may view a greater variety of tropical wildlife. The Plains have been called the "Serengeti of South America". In the afternoon, discover this scenery doing a Photo Safari excursion. Enjoy your typical dinner and prepare for a relaxing overnight right on the heart of the Plains.
Day 2.  Photo Safari (BLD)
Breakfast. River excursions constitute one of the primary attractions. During your stay you can see many different species of birds and crocodiles sunning themselves on the sandy beaches on the banks of the river. Carry out an examination of the typical local vegetation, and enjoy a delicious picnic. (Or return to the ranch for lunch depending on weather condition). Horses are available for those who wish to discover. In the evenings there are performances by local folkloric groups, playing typical instruments from the Plains: harp, cuatro (four-stringed guitar) and maracas, and you can enjoy watching dances performed by locals in traditional local costume (For Groups). Accommodation, dinner and overnight. 
Day 3. Hato - Caracas (BL)
Buffet Breakfast. Enjoy your last minutes at the ranch walking around the surroundings to see if you discover beneath the bushes monkeys or just wait until transfer, relaxing on one of the big “hammocks”. Check out and transfer to Barinas airport.
